The Community Resiliency Model (CRM©) is evidence-based and trains community members to not only help themselves but to help others within their wider social network. The primary focus of this skills-based stabilization program is to re-set the natural balance of the nervous system.

This model has been adapted and taught worldwide in diverse settings including school rooms, boardrooms, remote villages, and war zones. Created and administered through the Trauma Resource Institute, CRM© aspires to build communities where the collective response to stress and trauma is care, wisdom, and compassionate action.

This training offers psychoeducation on the human brain and autonomic nervous system and a set of practical skills for nervous system regulation that can be used to support personal wellbeing. Participants also learn how to effectively share these skills with others.

  • Understand how the brain and nervous system respond to stress and trauma.
  • Learn and practice tracking the nervous system and using resiliency-based skills for regulation.
  • Learn how to share these skills with others.
  • Explore ways to bring what you learn into your mindfulness practice and your life.
